A Weekend In New York

After graduating from Alfred University in December 2025, I had the opportunity to return and work with the university once again; this time on their first ever Battle of the Bands event. I began preparing as early as possible by creating a detailed advance that outlined all room requirements, labor needs, and set clear expectations. This ensured that everyone involved knew exactly what to expect from both a technical and production standpoint. That initial advance, followed by weeks of coordination with equipment and talent, led to a highly successful event.

The entire show was captured using two camera angles and 20 tracks of audio recording. This included 6 drum channels, 2 bass channels, 3 guitar channels, 4 vocal channels, along with additional microphones for announcements and crowd interaction. With these recordings, I’m able to deliver high-quality content that not only looks professional but sounds incredible as well.

Overall, I am grateful for the opportunity to return to campus, reconnect with old friends, and be part of such a memorable event.
